Our professors focus on automation and advanced industrial robotics and Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) courses used throughout the industry. Through theory and hands-on learning, you will learn how to maintain, repair and manage mechanical, electrical, electronic, fluid power and control systems, as well as the designs of automated equipment. We will work with you to help you understand the different systems and how they all relate to each other.

Yes! Although this program is designed to lead directly to employment, our associate degree programs are designed to be flexible enough to transfer to a wide variety of four-year colleges and universities with no loss of credit. However, each individual college has its own unique program. We encourage you to select a four-year school as soon as possible. This will allow you to learn the transfer college’s program requirements so that you can take the proper classes at HACC.
