Employer Services

Connect with HACC Students and Alumni

At HACC, we’re immensely proud of our students and work to help them along their chosen career path. A key component of that is connecting our students with employers that are looking to recruit talented potential employees. HACC offers employers numerous ways to connect with HACC students and alumni, whether online or on one of our five campuses.

HACC follows the National Association of Colleges and Employers’ (NACE) Career Readiness Competencies, which focus on supporting our students' professional growth and development toward achieving their career-related goals. To review NACE’s eight career readiness competencies, please check out What is Career Readiness?

Post a Job

Posting employment opportunities on our College Central Network platform allows you to utilize year-round hiring opportunities, source candidates from all majors for both internships and full-time positions and post part-time opportunities for students, including volunteer and work-study positions.

Simply create an account on the platform. Once you’re approved and your company profile is completed, students will have access to job postings from your company, and you’ll be able to search the résumés of HACC students and alumni to find and contact qualified candidates.

If you have already hired a HACC student or Alumni please "Report Your Hire Here."

Employer Spotlights

HACC hosts Employer Spotlights so you can create awareness about your organization by tabling at high-traffic locations on our campuses.

This service is offered exclusively to employers with College Central Network accounts

Please note:

  • A registration fee of $25 is required to reserve your date and time.
  • Payment details will be sent upon confirmation.
  • Scheduling depends on date and space availability.

Career Fairs

Each semester, HACC hosts a career fair where HACC students and alumni can meet prospective employers. These events are generally well-attended and provide the best way to meet a large number of students and alumni who are looking for new careers. There is a registration fee of $100 for these events, and space is limited.

Virtual Employer Information Sessions

Virtual Employer Informational Sessions feature presentations by company representatives about the featured industry, teaching students what to expect when entering the field. Presentations may include general information about your organization, specific details about your team and types of jobs students can expect to find. Question and answer sessions follow the presentations.

Virtual Employer Information Sessions are held via Zoom. Representatives can share their screens and engage with students through chat.

There is no registration fee required to reserve your date and time.

Mentoring

Although HACC doesn't have a formal mentoring program, students and alumni have the chance to network with career professionals and gain valuable insights for career exploration. Career professionals have the flexibility to choose how often they connect and which experiences, such as informational interviews, job shadows, and tours, they would like to offer. These are great ways to introduce students and alumni to your organization.

Please contact Kathleen Dormer Carusone, J.D., internship and experiential learning opportunities coordinator, at ktcaruso@hacc.edu, if you are interested in more information.

Experiential Learning Opportunities and Internships

Experiential learning opportunities and internships offer organizations unique ways to connect with students at HACC. You can post experiential learning opportunities and internships to our online database on the College Central Network.

If you are interested in offering experiential learning opportunities and internships to students at HACC, please email Kathleen Dormer Carusone at ktcaruso@hacc.edu.
