"We invite everyone who is thinking about college to stop by to learn about HACC's career options, financial aid, transferring credits and the college experience in general. We can help chart the course and help students along each step of the way," said Peter Oscsodal, director of student services at the York Campus. "Why try to navigate all the aspects of college on your own when there's no need to?"
Participants can tour the York Campus, meet current students, faculty and staff, and learn about student organizations and resources. They also will find information about HACC's easy enrollment process, career options, tuition payment options, and financial aid and scholarship opportunities and how to transfer credits for a bachelor's degree.
"At a time when it's more important than ever to make sure your credits transfer to a four-year college or university, HACC students are finding they can get their degree started here with a two-year associate degree, then transfer their credits to finish at the four-year college of their choice," said Oscodal. "Dual-admission agreements allow for a seamless transition between schools."
Students looking for employment skills or a career change rather than college transfer can get it started with a HACC diploma or certificate program, or a career associate degree.
