If you are looking for a family event that offers something for everyone, you won't want to miss the Family Fall Festival at the Lancaster Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College. There will be craft and flea market vendors, children's activities, musical entertainment, food, and more to experience from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 15 in the college's parking lot at 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike.

"This is the second year we've opened our doors to the community for this day of free family fun. A real highlight is favorite children's musician-storyteller Steven Courtney performing," said Jennifer Alleman, counselor for the Lancaster Campus.

There will be other children's activities including crafts, games and face painting. A chicken barbecue is planned along with participating food vendors. From 10am - noon young and old alike can give a try at the 99.3 KISS FM Highmark Healthy High 5 Sports Challenge.

"The festival helps acquaint the community with the Lancaster Campus of HACC. It offers community members a venue from which to promote their goods or organizations. It also raises money for scholarship funds," Alleman said.

Courtney, who has received multiple awards for his style of family fun musical entertainment, will perform live from noon to 1 p.m. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and prepare to dance, clap and sing along to his infectious music.

Lancaster Barnstormer fans take note. Players will be on hand from 1 - 2 p.m. to meet fans and sign autographs. Also scheduled at the same time, is an accuracy pitch with the Barnstormers. Barnstormer mascot, Cylo, also is making an appearance.

Limited space remains for vendors. The event will be held rain or shine. For more information about the event or you are interested in vendor space call the Lancaster Campus at 358-2973 or visit www.hacc.edu/lanc.
