Now that the busy summer vacation season is winding down, it is a good time to take advantage of the educational enrichment opportunities available through HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College. HACC Lebanon is offering two noncredit courses at its 735 Cumberland St. location.

• "Drawing Basics: Beginner/Intermediate" is a very special drawing course with extra instruction that will take students to advanced levels. They will learn approaches to drawing contours, gestures, proportion study, shapes, etc. and the use of a variety of tools. The class will be offered from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 11-Nov. 13. The cost is $125. Students will receive a materials list with their confirmation letter.

• "Conversational German I" will be offered from 6-8 p.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 26-Nov. 14. Irma Kuchinsky is the instructor. The cost is $125.
