HACC's Study Abroad program allows students to earn college credit. Or, travelers can take any of the 10-day to two-week trips simply for the experience as a noncredit course.
Students, as well as members of the are invited to come to a Study Abroad Fair on the Harrisburg Campus to find out more about the upcoming schedule of trips to England, France, Italy, Egypt, Denmark and China. The free fair will be held at Cooper Student Center from 10 a.m. to noon and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12. Those who attend from 10 a.m.-noon will have the opportunity to enter to win a Wii.
Exciting study abroad opportunities start in January with two trips planned both Jan. 2-14, including the London theater scene or the architecture and international business of England and France.
Spring trips include Italy for the study history, art and architecture, March 13-23; Egypt to study architecture, May 8-18, and China to explore Chinese culture and arts, May 29-June 12. In addition, HACC students and faculty will travel to Randers, Denmark, May 9-22, staying with host families and gain an understanding of the difference in cultures.
HACC offers up the college's best resources as tour guides – distinguished faculty. Embarking on a trip for college credit or noncredit under the expertise of college professors is a popular choice among students and travelers in central Pennsylvania.
