Registering for noncredit, continuing education courses offered at the York Center of HACC can start the spring season with revitalization and a break from your daily routine. Classes coming up in April include topics such as music, foreign languages, money management and music.

Debt-Free Living will teach the basics of paying off that daunting amount of debt, including mortgage, in seven to nine years on your present income. Bring a calculator and a list of all current debts to class. No financial planning, insurance, or investment programs will be offered or sold. The course will be offered on Wednesday, April 11 from 6-9pm. Cost is $49.

Conversational Spanish II is designed for the more-experienced Spanish student, and completion of the level one is course is required. The course will be offered on Wednesdays at 6:30-8:30pm from April 11 to May 30. Cost is $125.

Instant Piano for Hopelessly Busy People is a beginning class in chord piano techniques. Learn secrets of the trade to make piano playing a part of your life, learning chords, not notes. You'll learn all chords needed to play any pop song, any style, any key. If you can find middle C and the meaning of Every Good Boy Does Fine, you already know enough to enroll in this workshop. The class will be offered on Thursday, April 19 from 6-9:30pm. A $25 materials fee for workbooks and CD will be collected in class. The course is $49.

Music Reading for Total Beginners will teach the basic reading skills needed for playing and reading music for any instrument. This course is essential if you have no musical background or you wish to take the Instant Piano workshop later. The course will be held on Thursday, April 19 from 2-4pm. A $15 materials fee for a booklet and CD will be collected in class. The class is $35.
