Come take your NEW seat at the Rose Lehrman Arts Center located on the Harrisburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College and enjoy a new season of exceptional shows.

"We are thrilled to welcome our patrons to our new season with brand new theatre seats that are more comfortable and more spacious," said Teri Guerrisi, director of HACC's Performing Artist Series. "We closed the theatre in May and the space has had a bit of a makeover. With all the renovations the theatre has a more upscale appeal.

"We proudly continue our presentations of live professional theatre, music and family shows with a focus on distinctive world-class dance events. Now our patrons and even our artists will be hosted in new comfort and style."

The new season at the Rose Lehrman Arts Center features four (4) professional major dance events including a two-night engagement with the Paul Taylor Dance Company.

"We are excited to be a part of the Pennsylvania Paul Taylor Tour. The company will be touring to 26 different Pennsylvania arts centers and performing 20 different works from late March to late April 2008," said Guerrisi.

Funding for this unique statewide tour comes from "American Masterpieces" in Pennsylvania, an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts, with support of the NEA and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.

The Performing Artist Series at the Rose Lehrman Arts Center continues its partnership with the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center in York to offer a second year of the Susquehanna Valley Dance Series. Patrons can purchase a package of dance events at both venues and receive special discounts. The Series is only for sale through the Strand-Capitol box office at (717) 846-1111.

Additionally, the new season features the gospel and a cappella sounds of Sweet Honey in the Rock, Ballet Hispanico, the stories and dancing in Irish Times to name a few.

The Rose Lehrman Arts Center is honored and proud to be selected by Susquehanna Style Magazine as one of their Top 20 Favorite Things in the region. This honor came in their July/Aug 2007 issue.
