Open audition call set for Sept. 13 at Rose Lehman Arts Center

HARRISBURG -An open audition will be held for performers of theatre pieces, readings, songs, dance and more to perform at “Meghan’s Night - A Celebration on Stage.”
Auditions, which are open to anyone in the community, will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Rose Lehrman Arts Center on the Harrisburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College. Solo and smaller performance groups are recommended. The theatre is unable to support large groups or bands for this event.
“Meghan’s Night - A Celebration on Stage” will raise funds for the Meghan Freas Scholarship Fund. It will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at the arts center.
This community collaboration will benefit the Meghan Freas Scholarship Fund in the HACC Foundation. Proceeds from this event will be added to the existing scholarship fund, which will be awarded to a HACC student who is pursuing an interest in International Theatre Studies.
Meghan Freas, a HACC student and actor with Theatre Harrisburg, passed away from complications resulting from a vehicle accident in May 2008.
