Get It Started shows the many options of higher ed. for local residents

LEBANON – Take the first step toward your future by attending the Get It Started open house at the Lebanon Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College. The event takes place from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at the campus, 735 Cumberland St.
Find out the different academic options at HACC – including degree, transfer and career programs – as well as technology, trade and administrative office programs that can be completed in a shorter period of time. Learn about the types of internship opportunities available and how HACC can help students conduct a job search. Faculty, staff and students will answer questions, provide tours and offer insight about starting college at the Lebanon Campus, including how to enroll and apply for financial aid.
In addition, visitors can find out about HACC’s GED program offered in Spanish and English as a Second Language program.
“In today's uncertain economy, people are looking for options,” said Kay Litman, student services coordinator. “Whether you're looking to upgrade your skill set or enter a new career entirely, HACC has many programs from which to choose.”
