HARRISBURG – Joe Roman of Hummelstown joins HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, as director of publications and graphic identity. He is responsible for developing, budgeting and producing HACC publications and maintaining graphic standards college wide.
Roman formerly was the art director at Schreiber & Roman, Inc. Advertising and Marketing in Elizabethtown. He and his partner Charles Schreiber designed communication pieces for such clients as Quantum Imaging, Manhattan Bagel, Hershey Theatre, Hershey Gardens, Annville Inn and Elizabethtown Economic Development Corp.
Prior to the Schreiber & Roman partnership, Roman was art manager for the Bon Ton Department Store at the corporate offices in York, where he organized, directed and planned direct mail catalogs, newspaper advertising and special projects.
Roman has a bachelor’s degree in fine art from Kutztown University and is a graduate of Lower Dauphin High School. He is a member of the Rt. 230 Church of Christ in Elizabethtown where he volunteers his talents designing weekly bulletins, a monthly newsletter and projects that promote church events.
