Finally, a 'sport' tailored for couch potatoes!
Feb. 23, 2009
GETTYSBURG – Hibernation for winter couch potatoes is coming to a close, and HACC’s Gettysburg Campus has just the program to help you start moving: Potato Chip Yoga, a series of four afternoon sessions aimed at giving participants the basics of this ancient form of movement.
Sign up for one or all four afternoon sessions to find out why yoga is good for all types of bodies – even couch potatoes! You don’t have to be a pretzel to enjoy the benefits of yoga, nor do you have to be coordinated. All you have to do is to be able to breathe as you go through the movements in these beginners’ classes on the different types of yoga and movements to gain benefits from the exercise.
Classes are held from 1-3 p.m. Thursdays, March 5, 12, 19 and 26, at the campus, 731 Old Harrisburg Road. The cost is $25 per class. Wear comfortable clothing, and bring a yoga mat if you have one.
