Jan. 8, 2009
Gettysburg, PA – If learning another language or brushing up on existing skills is on your list of New Year’s resolutions, take a look at the variety of courses offered this winter at the Gettysburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
You’ll find conversational courses in Spanish, German, Arabic and Italian as well as a new offering – Everyday English, Basics. These classes begin the week of Jan. 26.
Gettysburg’s vital role in the Civil War remains a popular topic for many, and HACC Gettysburg has a schedule brimming with one- and two-session courses that explore various aspects of this time in our nation’s history.
For the novice seamstress, there’s basic sewing and quilt making for beginners. Or you can take armchair tours of the National Parks in one-class sessions, explore near-death experiences or learn to play the piano.
These personal enrichment classes are just a few of the programs available this winter at HACC’s Gettysburg Campus and there’s still time to enroll.
