Artists, craftspeople, food vendors invited to join HACC-Lancaster Campus at May 22 festival

LANCASTER  -- CommYOUnity Day 2010 at the Lancaster Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, celebrates the partnership between the community and the students, alumni, faculty and staff at the campus.
This annual free fun-filled, educational event will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, May 22, at the Main Building and grounds of the campus, 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike.
The public is invited to join in the festival and help celebrate the 20th anniversary of the HACC-Lancaster Campus. Theme of the anniversary is “Celebrating 20 years of education and partnering in the community.”
Among the attractions scheduled are musical entertainment; kids’ zone with games, crafts, face painting, storytelling and inflatable bounces; local arts and crafts, and food vendors; special guest appearances; informational booths by nonprofit organizations; and free give-a-ways. New this year are a number of special events for HACC alumni.
Artists, craftspeople and local food business operators are invited to be a part of the festival. The fee is $35 per booth. To sign up or for more information, contact Eleanor Bosserman at 358-2909 or via e-mail at edbosser@hacc.edu.
