HACC and Bloomsburg University partner in program agreement Help for students pursuing early childhood education-elementary education degree

HARRISBURG -  Representatives from HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, and Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania recently signed an agreement offering HACC graduates seamless transfer into the early childhood education-elementary education program at Bloomsburg University. The agreement is in effect beginning with students who entered HACC this fall and plan to transfer to Bloomsburg in fall 2012.
As a program-to-program transfer, HACC students graduating with an associate degree in early childhood education-elementary education can transfer all credits to Bloomsburg University for their bachelor’s degree and be admitted with full junior status provided they fulfill all academic requirements of Bloomsburg University.
All requirements for the bachelor’s degree can be completed at the Dixon University Center, 2986 N. Second St., Harrisburg, or at Bloomsburg University’s campus in Columbia County.
 
HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, offers nearly 200 career and transfer associate degree, certificate and diploma programs to more than 23,000 students at five regional campuses in Gettysburg, Harrisburg, Lancaster, Lebanon and York and online through its Virtual Campus.
 
Bloomsburg University is one of 14 universities in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. The university serves approximately 9,000 students, offering comprehensive programs of study in the colleges of Education, Business, Liberal Arts and Science and Technology.
