Public invited to join in on fun family activities on April 21

LANCASTER -- The Center for Innovative Teaching Excellence at the Lancaster Campus of HACC is hosting its third annual “HACC-Lancaster Campus Celebrates Earth Day,” an environmentally educational experience for the whole family, 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, April 21.
The event will kick-off with a campus cleanup, part of the “Great PA Cleanup Challenge,” organized by the Alpha Nu Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. Volunteers will meet in front of the East Building at 8:30 a.m.
The celebration continues from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. with local environmental non-profits and businesses on hand with a wealth of information, products, and ideas to “Go Green.” In addition, there will be hands-on craft opportunities.
Native American flutist, David Rose, will play from 1-2 p.m.
