Lebanon, PA – Lebanon County job seekers are invited to a job fair from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, at the PA CareerLink of Lebanon County Office, 243 Schneider Drive, Lebanon.
HACC-Lebanon Campus is partnering with the local CareerLink to bring in top employers for job opportunities and networking with HACC students and local residents. Those attending should bring resumes and be prepared for interviews and to complete applications.
Two workshops are scheduled to help job applicants. Workplace Expectations: Mastering the Soft Skills takes place from 11 a.m.-noon and Unemployment Compensation Review is from 1-2 p.m.
“When it comes to hiring and keeping employees, businesses are looking for more than just someone who knows how to ‘do the job,’ they are looking for someone who understands expectations of the workplace. This workshop will help you to be more than a good employee, but a great employee.” said Kay Litman, campus director of enrollment services.
Representatives from the CareerLink, a one-stop shop that connects employers and job seekers in the most efficient manner possible, will offer resume, employment and training services to interested applicants during the event.
Nearly 20 employers are attending including organizations from education, nonprofit, profit, health care and state agencies.
Information regarding programs and classes that can fit into working students’ schedules also will be available. HACC staff members can answer questions about the admission process.
