LANCASTER – Area residents need look no further than their home-town community college for programs that can lead to a four-year degree.
Students can complete one of four bachelor’s degrees offered by three area institutions at the Lancaster Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike.
“Students who qualify to enroll in one of these programs will be able to take advantage of the opportunity for advanced learning while saving in travel costs in a local and familiar environment,” said Brad A. Wolf, executive dean of academic affairs at HACC-Lancaster Campus.
Potential students can find out more about these programs during an information session at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, in room 203 of the East Building.
Bachelor’s degree programs available this fall at the HACC-Lancaster Campus include:
- Health care management offered by Immaculata University
- Nursing offered by Immaculata University
- Business administration offered by Elizabethtown College

The classes are taught by faculty from the respective institution in an accelerated format during the evening. The program also includes access to services such as admissions, financial aid and registration by the respective institution at HACC. Advising, tutoring and library services also are available on the campus.
HACC associate degree graduates and other residents who meet admission requirements of the individual institution are eligible to enroll in the programs. Students in the degree-completer programs pay the tuition rate of the respective institution.
