LANCASTER – Help in navigating the college process is as close as the Lancaster Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
Anyone thinking about pursuing college can find out more about HACC’s innovative programs, tour classrooms, meet students and faculty, and begin the admissions process at a free “Get It Started” open house.
The information-packed “all-in-one” continuous session runs from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 2, in Room 222 of the Main Building on campus, 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike.
“We began holding this event to help high school seniors and juniors who are in the process of making decisions about their career paths,” said Alicia Laughman, enrollment management coordinator. “But, really, it is helpful for anyone who is considering furthering his or her education and needs help with how to get started.”
Participants will get a first-hand look at opportunities in healthcare careers, including nursing and radiologic technology, and visit a new simulation lab. In addition to learning more about popular transfer programs in business administration, criminal justice and psychology, participants will find information on the many other programs leading to an associate degree.
Career options, financial aid information, admissions policies and support services also will be explained. Reserve a seat for the free program by calling 358-2246 or go to www.hacc.edu/getitstarted.
