HANOVER – Earn credits toward a college degree right in the Hanover area with classes offered this fall by HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, at four convenient sites.
Potential students are invited to free information session at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at the Hanover Center for Workforce Excellence, 400 Pine St., where they’ll learn about:
· HACC’s easy enrollment process
· financial aid and scholarship options
· programs of study and options that include trades and manufacturing careers
In addition, HACC faculty and staff will be on hand to answer questions.
Registration begins April 4 for the fall semester, with classes starting Aug. 29.
Classes will be offered at four locations, including:
· Hanover Center for Workforce Excellence -- electrical system troubleshooting, programmable logic controllers, and safety in the workplace
· Hanover Hospital Wellness and Education Center, 400 York St. -- beginning algebra, English composition I, general psychology, introduction to sociology, United States I, and yoga
· South Western High School, 22 Bowman Road -- including oxy-fuel welding and cutting, introduction to sociology, general psychology, English composition I and II, and environmental science
· Hanover High School, 403 Moul Ave. – immediate algebra
Classes are offered through the HACC-Gettysburg Campus.
