LANCASTER – There are ways to pay for a college education. Find out how at the Lancaster Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
From 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Jan. 29, the public is invited to a free financial aid seminar in Room 222 of the Main Building on the Lancaster Campus, 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike. Those who attend will find the answers no matter what their college plans are, and the seminar is open to anyone, not just students coming to HACC. Registration is required. Register online by going to
www.hacc.edu/lancaster.
Learn about:
- Different types of aid, including scholarships, grants, loans and employment opportunities
- Where to look for other sources of aid and what pitfalls to avoid
- How to compare financial aid offers from different schools and pick what is best for your needs
- How to fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form and how to file it online
HACC’s financial aid staff will be on hand to answer questions.
In addition to the Jan. 29 seminar at the Lancaster Campus, HACC financial aid sessions will be held at all of HACC’s campuses at the same time -- from 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24. Register for any of these sessions by going to HACC’s website at
