Ty Strohl of Camp Hill joins HACC's Board of Trustees

HARRISBURG – Businessman Ty D. Strohl of Camp Hill is the newest member of the Board of Trustees of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
Strohl, whose appointment runs through 2016, was welcomed recently to his first board meeting by Trustee Chair Tim Sandoe.
An education advocate, Strohl is a member of the Board of Education of St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Mechanicsburg and former president of the Board of Directors of Collegian Inc., publisher of The Daily Collegian newspaper at The Pennsylvania State University.
Since 2010, he has been a member of the telesales department at MSC Industrial Supply Co., a Fortune 1000 company based in Melville, N.Y. Strohl manages a telesales staff based in Jonestown that is responsible for multiple core metal working and maintenance and repair operations (MRO) portfolios across the United States. He previously was field manager for the Reynolds and Reynolds Co., Philadelphia region.
Strohl graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in communications and a minor in business.
His honors and activities include current vice chair and secretary of the St. Joseph Pastoral Council Board and a previous at-large director for Collegian Inc., where he also served as business manager as a Penn State student.
