GETTYSBURG – “The Eyes Have It,” and exhibit by the critically acclaimed photographer, Chuck Rineer, will be featured from April 1 – May 29, 2013, at HACC‘s Gettysburg Campus, 731 Old Harrisburg Road. A Lunch and Learn Program, with Rineer as the featured speaker, will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013, followed by a reception for the artist.
The exhibit features Rineer’s photographs of wolves at the Wolf Sanctuary of PA, a nonprofit rescue facility in Lititz.
Rineer said “his intent is to allure you to a point of curiosity through eye-to-eye contact with nature.” He feels his study and photography of wolves, especially those inhabiting the Wolf Sancturay of PA, has been a priceless experience. He strongly supports the Wolf Sanctuary of PA.
Rineer’s work has been featured in National Geographic’s photo library, Readers Digest, and the Washington Post. He recently accepted membership on a National Geographic research panel regarding nature photography.
Associates from the Wolf Sanctuary of PA will accompany Rineer and speak at the Lunch and Learn. Those attending are asked to bring their own lunch and beverage. Light refreshments will be served during the program.
Rineer has donated one of his photographs, “Gray Overwatch,” to the College. The photograph has been featured in National Geographic.
