(HARRISBURG, Pa.) –HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, is introducing a new program, the Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)
® program, that is slated to begin in October. Classes are forming now.
HACC’s new CPT program is a 15-week, 150-hour program that is comprised of one four-hour class and six hours online, per week. The program also offers an optional six-week internship. Courses begin the week of Oct. 27, 2014 and provide the preparation and opportunity to take a nationally accredited personal trainer certification, such as the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer
®.
Interested students can attend the information session at 10 a.m. on Oct. 4, 2014, at the J. Evans Physical Education Building on the Harrisburg Campus of HACC.
