Nancy Rockey, a former employee of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, was sentenced today, Jan. 20, 2015,
as reported by PennLive.com.
“HACC has cooperated fully with federal and county authorities throughout the investigation,” said HACC President John J. “Ski” Sygielski, Ed.D. “We are glad to see this unfortunate chapter in HACC’s history come to an end. We are moving forward in our mission of providing a quality education to the students we serve and are looking forward to the future for everyone.”
As a result of the internal investigation launched in February 2012 that led to Rockey’s arrest, the College has put additional checks and balances into place for the use of College-issued credit cards to prevent something like this from happening again.
