Improvised Musical Comedy is Set to Make You Laugh
HARRISBURG, Pa. –
Broadway’s Next Hit Musical, an improvised musical comedy that is “hilarious” according to “The New York Times,” is making its way to Live at Rose Lehrman on March 29, 2017, at 7:30 p.m. in the Rose Lehrman Arts Center on the
Harrisburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
The public is invited to enjoy this interactive show. Master improvisers will gather made-up song suggestions from the audience and create a spontaneous evening of music, humor and laughter. Broadway’s Next Hit Musical has been called “A musical of, for and by the people” by “Time Out NY.” The group has performed at

HACC’s Lebanon Campus to Host Internationally Recognized Contemporary Realism Artist
LEBANON, Pa. – Steve Perrault of Harrisburg, an internationally recognized artist, will present “Personal Passages,” a free public lecture and presentation on his genre of contemporary realism, on April 18, 2017, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at
HACC’s Lebanon Campus.
Perrault, a full-time artist since 1998, has a rich and varied background.
“My education and work experience as a psychotherapist, jail chaplain and art instructor strongly inform my paintings by incorporating my particular involvements and symbolic thinking into a unique iconography,” Perrault said in his
artist’s statement. “Art is advocacy. My works characterize deliberate focus and stability, often missing in today’s superficial and shifting technological climate.”
Perrault holds graduate degrees in theology, clinical psychology and art education. He also studied at Parson’s School of Design in New York City. A native of Minnesota, Perrault entered Catholic seminary at 17. For 13 years, he lived in the context of seminary and monastic life. He worked in multiple ministerial settings, including three years as chaplain of a New York State county jail, and 10 years in clinical work as a psychotherapist in Chicago.
His work resides in public and private collections around the world, including the Smithsonian and the Environmental Protection Agency’s national headquarters, both in Washington, D.C. He has been featured in more than 50 national and international publications, including “The New York Times Magazine,” “ARTnews” and “American Art Collector.” Perrault also has been a finalist for nine years in the annual best art competition held by “The Artist’s Magazine.” He is represented by galleries in Houston, London, Los Angeles, New York and Zurich.
Perrault’s lecture and presentation will be held in the multi-purpose room of HACC’s Lebanon Campus in downtown Lebanon at 735 Cumberland St. For more information, please contact Katie Hovencamp at
