HACC Foundation Allocates $136,361 for HACC Programs and Projects
HARRISBURG, Pa. – The HACC Foundation recently provided funding for key projects at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, including funding to update the York Campus automotive laboratory.
The HACC Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises private contributions in support of HACC, approved $136,361 for projects at the College. This funding is made possible through generous contributions from individual and organizational donors.

Funding for tablets and accessories was provided for faculty members to demonstrate Adobe application and make student practice available. |

Funding for cameras and kits was provided to replace unserviceable equipment. The cameras will be provided for student usage in several multimedia classes. |

This funding will support the Men of Color initiative at HACC, which is focused on connecting new male students of color with seasoned students for peer mentoring. In addition, the initiative is focused on leadership development and special events for male students of color. |

Funding was granted to establish a central dispatch as the single Public Safety answering center for all HACC campuses. |
