HARRISBURG, Pa. – HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers (PSPE) Harrisburg Chapter, is hosting local high school students ages 15-18 for Engineering Career Day on Feb. 23, 2017, from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at HACC’s Midtown Trade and Technology Center, 1500 N. Third St. Students will spend the day with industry leaders and gain insight into engineering careers.
Industry leaders will speak and answer questions about educational and vocational training requirements for their specific field. Participating industries include AECOM, Readco Kurimoto, LLC, Brinjac Engineering, Phoenix Contact, TE Connectivity, The Hershey Company and Penn State University.
Specific fields that will be highlighted are:
- Architectural engineering
- Building construction technology
- Chemical engineering
- Civil engineering
- Computer engineering
- Electrical engineering
- Mechanical engineering
- Nanofabrication

The snow make-up date is March 2 from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
