Three-Time Grammy-Award Winner Performing at HACC's Live at Rose Lehrman

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Bill Miller, a three-time Grammy-award winning Native American recording artist, performer, songwriter, activist and world-class native flute player, opens the Live at Rose Lehrman (LARL) 2017-18 season on Sept. 27, 2017, at the Harrisburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.

Miller’s long-standing career has led him to work with some of the biggest names in the music business, from Arlo Guthrie and Richie Havens to Pearl Jam and Tori Amos. His flute playing was featured on Vanessa Williams’ song, “Colors of the Wind,” for the award-winning soundtrack of Disney’s “Pocahontas.”

Miller will lead a free lunch-and-learn on racial reconciliation at noon on Sept. 27 in Whitaker Hall, Room 214. The LARL performance will begin at 7:30 p.m.
