COVERAGE: | Coverage is invited of a celebration of International Women’s Day in the Bruce E. Cooper Student Center on HACC’s Harrisburg Campus on March 12 starting at noon. At 1 p.m., “Women of the World” will be presented by international students Mariana Saba of Brazil, Safiah Alafari of Saudi Arabia and Tafadzwa Chakala of Zimbabwe, who will talk about the lives of women in their home countries. There will also be a poetry reading by a student author. International desserts such as “puff puff,” baklava and tea will be available for purchase.
