HARRISBURG, Pa. – HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, welcomes Doreen Fisher-Bammer, Ed.D., as the College’s associate provost of Virtual Learning.
 
Fisher-Bammer assumed the role on March 19. She previously was director of online learning and instructional technology at Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, where she saw significant growth in the school’s online student population.
 
Fisher-Bammer also served as director of e-learning for Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell, and director of distance learning for the Delaware Campus of Widener University. In addition to her administrative experience, Fisher-Bammer brings perspective as a faculty member, having taught undergraduate courses in psychology and graduate courses in leadership.
 
Fisher-Bammer received her doctorate in higher education administration from Widener University.
 
HACC offers a variety of degree, certificate and diploma programs that can be completed entirely online. More than 6,500 students are currently enrolled in virtual classes at HACC.
