More Than 700 Students Graduate from HACC in Fall 2017
Feb. 2, 2018
HARRISBURG, Pa. – More than 700 students at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, completed their associate degrees, certificates or diplomas during the fall 2017 term. Graduates were celebrated during HACC’s Commencement ceremony, held Dec. 19, 2017, at the Giant Center in Hershey.
Commencement student speaker Gloria Stoudt of Lancaster said in her address, “I considered my continued education as a privilege, and I embraced my goals. How exciting is it that I could write yet another chapter in this book of mine called life? More importantly, I had the opportunity to give my life story a happy ending, as do you.”
Additionally, thank-you video messages were shared with friends and family prior to the ceremony as a way for graduates to show their appreciation.
