New HACC Foundation Fund Supports the Culinary Arts, Food Service Management

HARRISBURG, Pa. – The estate of Benjamin Olewine III has generously established a new fund at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College. The Fund for Excellence for the Benjamin Olewine III Center for the Study of Culinary Arts and Food Management will provide funding for HACC’s Culinary Arts Program.
 
HACC’s Culinary Arts Program provides hands-on learning opportunities in on-campus and off-campus venues. Students learn food preparation, production and service.
 
In fall 2018, HACC will launch its new offering of an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree within the Culinary Arts Program. HACC currently offers a certificate, diploma and Associate in Arts (AA) degree in culinary arts.
