Live at Rose Lehrman’s 2018-19 Season Lineup at HACC

HARRISBURG, Pa. – The Live at Rose Lehrman (LARL) 2018-19 season begins Sept. 27, 2018, with Philadelphia-based Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers, a professional contemporary dance company hailed for its superb technique and inventive choreography.
Kun-Yang Lin, artistic director, will lead a pre-show discussion at 6:30 p.m. in the studio theatre of the Rose Lehrman Arts Center on HACC’s Harrisburg Campus. The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m.
From contemporary dance to Broadway cabaret and nationally renowned acapella, LARL’s 2018-19 season performances showcase exceptional artists from around the country.

Jim Messina– Oct. 24, 2018, at 7:30 p.m.
Legendary singer, songwriter and guitarist Jim Messina brings his band for a career-retrospective tour showcasing some of his greatest hits: “Angry Eyes,” “Your Mama Don’t Dance” and “You Better Think Twice”
Rob McClure– Nov. 29, 2018, at 7:30 p.m.
Broadway star Rob McClure brings his charm, wit and musical genius to our stage for a delightful evening of Cabaret.
BODYTRAFFIC – Jan. 23, 2019, at 7:30 p.m.
Los Angeles-based BODYTRAFFIC has become one of the most talked about dance companies in the country – named “the company of the future” by The Joyce Theater Foundation, Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch” in 2013 and “Best of Culture” by the Los Angeles Times.
Contra-Tiempo Urban Latin Dance Theater– Feb. 12, 2019, at 7:30 p.m.
Contra-Tiempo, a bold and multilingual Los Angeles-based company, roots its work in salsa and afro-Cuban and draws from hip-hop, urban and contemporary dance theater.
VoicePlay – March 14, 2019, at 7:30 p.m.
VoicePlay is unlike any theatrical experience, recreating the orchestrated sound of an entire musical production with nothing but the human voice. The cast of VoicePlay ping-pongs between eras and styles, channeling the breadth of the musical landscape and lacing it with inventive and often hilarious onstage theatrics.
