COVERAGE: | Media coverage is invited. The community is invited to enjoy a car show and flea market as part of HACC’s 2019 Day of Giving while raising money to assist students at HACC’s Gettysburg Campus. The event starts at 7 a.m. with registration for flea market vendors. Parking space rental is $15 and table rental is $5. To reserve a spot, contact Wendy Brubaker at wabrubak@hacc.edu or 717-339-3536. Attendees are invited to shop from 8 a.m.-noon. Car enthusiasts will show off their prized automobiles from 9 a.m.-noon. Vehicle registration fees of $15 each will be accepted on the day of the event. Registered car enthusiasts can vote for best convertible, muscle car, truck and hot rod. Independent judging will take place for the most original and best of show awards. Winners will be announced at 11:45 a.m. Spectators are welcome at no charge and can vote for the People’s Choice award for $1 a vote. A $1,000 HACC tuition giveaway winner will be announced at 11:30 a.m. The giveaway is for a new or current student and is sponsored by the Arlene Utz Hollinger Foundation. Entrants must be present to win.
