HARRISBURG, Pa. – With the global pandemic, college looks different now for future college students. College may also be a new consideration for adults who are no longer employed. To assist all of these individuals, HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, is inviting the public to attend a variety of virtual information sessions in May, June, July and August 2020.
“As a provider of quick job training, degrees that transfer to four-year schools and programs for people of all ages and backgrounds, HACC is here for the community,” said Sara Maines, director of admissions at HACC.
Over the summer, admissions counselors and HACC employees from various areas across the College will provide virtual sessions on different topics.
The general information sessions will include an overview of HACC, information about transferring, advising, career services, student access services and steps for enrolling.
The College offers fully online programs as well as hundreds of classes that can be taken online anytime – even after the pandemic. The Virtual Learning information sessions will highlight HACC’s online programs, provide answers to questions and share the steps to enroll.
With more than 20 health career programs, specific sessions will be held to provide more details about these programs.
Special topic information sessions will focus on financial aid, transferring to HACC, student involvement and athletics, advising and career services and more.
