HARRISBURG, Pa. – HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, is pleased to announce our recent partnership with The GIANT Company, which made a generous $50,000 gift to the HACC Foundation in support of the following projects:
The GIANT Company Inclusion and Diversity Fund for Excellence will support innovative HACC initiatives related to inclusion and diversity.
The GIANT Company Inclusion and Diversity Scholarship Fund will help students from diverse backgrounds to pay for their HACC tuition, books and/or fees.
Together, HACC and The GIANT Company can help to improve inclusion and diversity in Central Pennsylvania. In addition, HACC and The GIANT Company can help Central Pennsylvania to address some of the social ills and injustices that have plagued our communities for decades.

HACC Foundation Allocates Over $600,900 for Key Projects
HARRISBURG, Pa. - The HACC Foundation recently provided funding for key projects at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
The HACC Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises private contributions in support of HACC, approved more than $600,900 for projects at the College.
This funding is made possible through generous contributions from individual and organizational donors.

Dental Simulation Laboratory
Funding will be used to provide a dental simulation laboratory on HACC’s Harrisburg Campus. The simulation laboratory will ensure HACC can provide students an education that focuses on best practices to prepare students to work in any dental office.

General Education Development (GED) and Skilled Training Academy
Funding will allow students to simultaneously participate in GED adult education classes and career-readiness classes through HACC’s S.T.E.P. Academy (Stand up, Take action, Expect great things, Put in the work).

Funding will allow HACC to be the first community college in the country to partner with Franklin Covey to offer credentialing.
