HARRISBURG, Pa. - The HACC Foundation recently provided funding for key projects at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
 
The HACC Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises private contributions in support of HACC, approved more than $213,000 for projects at the College. This funding is made possible through generous contributions from individual and organizational donors.
 
The HACC Foundation funded the following projects:

	Geospatial Technology Across the Curriculum	Funding will be used to support a four-phase project to offer geospatial technology to professors at HACC.	$165,900
	Next Gen Taskforce Prior Learning Assessment Accelerator (PLA)	Funding will be used to implement the PLA Accelerator, an online tool that guides students through the process of documenting their work and learning experiences.	$15,000
	Westlaw Paralegal Resource	Funding will be used to purchase the legal research resources needed for HACC’s Paralegal Studies Program to maintain their American Bar Association accreditation.	$13,500
	HACC CARE Gift Cards for Groceries and Preparation for Two On-Campus Food Pantry Sites	Funding will be used to provide e-gift cards for HACC students facing food insecurity.	$11,000
	Designing a Four-Credit English as a Second Language (ESL) Grammar Course	Funding will be used to design a four-credit grammar course to help ESL students master the English language.	$7,657
