COVERAGE: | Two Commencement ceremonies are scheduled to ensure the College can safely celebrate its graduating students during the ongoing pandemic. HACC President and CEO John J. “Ski” Sygielski, MBA, Ed.D., will confer degrees, diplomas and certificates to HACC students at each Commencement ceremony. Each Commencement ceremony will include brief remarks from HACC leadership, employees and an alumna. At the 2 p.m. Commencement ceremony, Robert Reed will speak on behalf of the graduating students. Reed enrolled in HACC classes after a 20-year break from school and will receive an Associate in Applied Science in paralegal studies. At the 6 p.m. Commencement ceremony, Drake Naylor will speak on behalf of the graduating students. Naylor, a social sciences student, participates in activism work for the rights of the LGBTQ and people with disabilities. For your safety, the College will provide student stories and images following the 6 p.m. ceremony.
