Virtually view two productions by HACC students
HARRISBURG, Pa. – The sixth annual New Works Festival at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, presents the world premiere of two brand-new plays shot as film. Starring HACC students, the festival presents the following for the public to stream April 20-23, 2023.
Dave Olmsted, HACC assistant professor of film and theatre, said, “We are very excited for this year’s festival as it will be the first time that students in our new Film and Theatre Program will get to work on a film set. While written as plays, this year’s festival winners will have their works transformed into cinema. Which in turn will provide hands-on experience for our film and theatre students both on camera and behind the scenes. Technical students will work in the capacity of camera operators, grips, boom operators and editors. While our acting students will garner valuable on-camera experience.”
Tickets are $5 per device and available at hacc.edu/haccTheatre.
