Investments in HACC’s students and employees multiply over the course of their careers. Approximately 94% of HACC alumni remain in the HACC Service Region, continuing their positive impact on the regional economy.
In 2022-23, operations, construction and student spending of HACC, together with the enhanced productivity of its alumni, generated $1 billion in added income for the HACC Service Region economy.
Higher education is associated with higher earnings, increased tax revenues and reduced social spending. For every dollar society invests in HACC, people in Pennsylvania will receive a cumulative value of $9.10 in benefits.
