Meet Amaury: Impacting the World for Good

“…HACC meant opportunity, an opportunity for a better education, better friendships and a better lifestyle.”

Amaury Abreu, an outgoing social sciences student at HACC’s Lebanon Campus, will be staring down graduation at the time this post is published. He will walk the stage with hundreds of other high-achieving students, ready to take on the next challenges. For Amaury, one of those next big challenges will be starting his post-HACC education at Millersville University.
Amaury said that HACC has improved his life by “letting me connect with other people whom I believe will impact the world for good.”

If HACC was no longer an option, he said, “It [would] definitely change the value I see in my community, having HACC means more value for where I live.”

You can watch Amaury in action – advocating for a community college education that can take your life further – in this special PennLive video. He is joined by other students who feel passionately about the opportunities HACC provides.
